About the projects

The Northeast Power Line is a new 500 kV transmission line of about 205 km between Greater Sudbury and Mississagi Transformer Station near Wharncliffe. The North Shore Link is a new 230 kV line connecting Mississagi Transformer Station to Third Line Transformer Station in Sault Ste. Marie. Together, they will strengthen electricity supply across the region and are being developed in partnership with First Nations.

WOCC represents its eight member First Nations in opportunities connected to these projects, including training, jobs and business opportunities. Stay connected with WOCC for upcoming training and employment updates and follow us on Facebook.
