The Loader Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of front-end loaders and related heavy equipment. This role loads, unloads, transports, and places aggregate, spoil, and construction materials, and supports grading, backfilling, and general site clean-up. The Loader Operator performs daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance, and maintains accurate operational logs in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Foreman, Journeymen, and ground crews, this role helps maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.

The Excavator Operator – Finish Grade performs routine equipment inspections and promptly reports any mechanical issues, ensuring safe and reliable operation on site. This position requires significant hands-on experience with excavators and finish grading, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

The Labourer must demonstrate a sound work ethic, take direction well, and safely operate basic hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks. This position requires strict adherence to all site safety requirements, including client-specific PPE, FR clothing, and training standards.

Working independently or with minimal supervision in demanding field conditions, this role applies certified welding processes to ensure all structural welds meet code and specification requirements. The Welder, Journeyman reads and interprets blueprints and work procedures, and maintains a strong safety focus and situational awareness on active construction sites. This is a field-based, shift-work position requiring the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods and adapt to demanding schedules and rough-terrain conditions.

Welds pile caps in accordance with approved specifications and welding procedures
Splices piles using FCAW and SMAW processes to specification

Working in extreme weather conditions, the Assembler completes all manual and physical requirements to build transmission towers. The role involves loading and moving construction materials, assembling and fastening steel lattice tower components, and assisting heavy equipment operators on active construction sites. This position requires physical endurance, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a construction crew in remote and variable outdoor conditions.

The Block Truck Driver operates the Block Truck and trailer on public highways, roads and the Right of Way (ROW). The Block Truck Driver picks up scraps and various locations and delivers missing parts to various locations along the Right of Way. This role operates tractor-trailer units safely and in compliance with Hours of Service, cargo securement, and other applicable regulations. The driver completes vehicle inspections, maintains accurate logbooks, and promptly reports incidents, claims and vehicle defects.
Responsibilities
Ensure the truck and trailers being operated are always in good working order
Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes
Pick up scraps at Assembly points along the Right of Way
Deliver missing steel to Assembly points along the Right of Way as required
Secure cargo properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods

The Excavator Operator – Assembly also completes daily equipment inspections, performs routine maintenance, and documents equipment use in accordance with company requirements. This is a field-based position in a busy construction environment where personnel and equipment operate in close proximity, and it requires strong situational awareness and a safety-first approach.
